Faysal Alaquil, owner of Alaquil Trading, was born in the Saudi Arabian city of Tayif, the seventh son of H.E. Sheikh Ibraheem Alsulaiman Alaquil, a father successful in diplomacy and renowned as a key force in forming and structuring the Saudi Royal Court and confidante of the late King Faysal, by and for whom Faysal Alaquil was named. It was on the advice of his father, with whom he was close, that Faysal chose a career in business and not politics. In San Francisco, California, USA in 1979, Faysal earned a bachelors degree in business. Returning to Riyadh, he began a succession of management and senior staff positions in a diverse range of industries and in 1980, he established Alaquil Trading Est. Along the way, he married, began a family, and in 1982 received his MBA. For some years, Faysal Alaquil divided his time among Saudi Arabia, the USA, and Argentina. He then formed a strategic alliance with a U.S. company on a retail venture emphasizing personnel recruitment. Thereafter, he consulted independently in Riyadh. In 2001, he served as Executive Manager for (JHCD) Jeddah Holding Company for Development – an investment firm. In the same year and at the request of the late HRH Prince Abdulmajeed Al Saud, he resumed his study, and in 2003, was granted a Ph.D. in business management.   Dr. Faysal Alaquil Through working with various foreign companies as a business consultant, and his recognized and proven vast experience in the Middle Eastern Market, specifically in the Gulf, Dr. Faysal Alaquil was offered the prestigious full time position as, Secretary to the Board of Directors & Director, Business Development & Administration Affairs for (CPC) Construction Products Holding Company, a multi million dollar construction products company catering to prominent local and foreign companies.
